Getting Ready for Your Adventure
A little preparation goes a long way toward making your visit safe, smooth, and unforgettable.
Complete Your Waiver
Every participant must complete an online waiver before arriving. Guests under 19 years of age must have their waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Restrictions
While we invite flyers of all ages, our attractions are certified for a set weight range for safety. We do have a scale on site to check, prior to participation. Guests must be a minimum of 60 lbs (28kg) and no more than 275 lbs (124kg).
Arrive Early
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time. This allows plenty of time for check-in, equipment fitting, and your safety briefing so your adventure can begin on time.
Dress for Adventure
Wear comfortable clothing that suits the day’s weather and secure, closed-toe footwear. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and high heels are not permitted.
Our attractions operate rain or shine, although tours may be delayed or cancelled if weather conditions are considered unsafe.
Travel Light
We recommend leaving valuables in your vehicle. We’ll securely store your vehicle keys while you’re on your adventure.
Challenge Your Limits
Feeling nervous? You’re not alone. Many of our guests are trying an aerial adventure for the very first time. Our experienced guides are there to coach, encourage, and support you every step of the way—but they’ll never pressure you to continue if you’re uncomfortable.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you whenever
possible.
Guest Cancellations
● Cancellations made 48 hours or more before your scheduled tour are eligible for a full
refund.
● Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled tour are non-refundable.
Where space and scheduling permit, we may be able to reschedule your booking, but
this cannot be guaranteed.
Arriving Late
Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tour time to allow enough time for check-in, waiver verification, equipment fitting, and your safety briefing.
Tours depart on schedule out of respect for all guests. If you arrive late, we will do our best to include you if operationally possible, but we cannot guarantee participation, reschedule your tour, or provide a refund.
Weather
Shuswap Adventure Park operates rain or shine. Light rain often makes for an even more exciting adventure!
However, guest safety always comes first. If severe weather, high winds, lightning, wildfire
conditions, or other unsafe operating conditions require us to delay or cancel your tour, you will have the option to reschedule your adventure for another available date, or receive a full refund
if we are unable to accommodate another booking.
Weight & Participation Requirements
For the safety of all participants, guests must meet the published weight requirements.
If a member of your group does not meet these requirements, we will refund that individual’s
booking. The remainder of the group’s booking remains subject to this cancellation policy.
If You Change Your Mind
It’s completely normal to feel nervous—many of our guests are trying an aerial adventure for the very first time.
If you decide not to continue before completing either the Lynx Leap (if included in your package) or your first Flying Fox zipline, we’ll happily escort you back down from the tower and provide a full refund.
Once you have completed either of these activities, your adventure has begun and refunds are no longer available.
Our guides are here to encourage and support you every step of the way, but we’ll never pressure anyone to continue if they’re not comfortable.
